I'm very fortunate to be called on by the Philadelphia Section of the PGA for many of their tournaments and events!  This project got me excited as a fan of the game.  While I have not played the course, my husband played it many times over the years. The goal is to restore the course to the original as best they possibly can and host a PGA event in the city of Philadelphia one day in the future!  Cobbs Creek Golf Course was originally designed by Hugh Wilson in the 1920's just about the same time he also designed Merion Golf Club right up the road. Now, they are looking to Gil Hanse for his expertise in the restoration design.  You can view some of his past restoration projects by clicking on this link!
