freedom isn't free...
Military Parents Before and After Photo Shoots
Use Photos to Capture the Memory of Your Family Before and After Deployment
Our military heroes put their lives on the line to protect our rights to freedom and liberty. They step up to defend us and our country while knowing they put their lives at risk. And they do this with pride and courage.
However, when our military heroes stand on the front lines to defend our rights, they are not the only ones risking their lives for our freedom. Their families sit at home, trying to go on with life, knowing that their mother or father, son or daughter, husband or wife, is putting themselves in danger to protect Americans and the American way of life. Our heroes and their families sacrifice all sense of family and normalcy to defend everyone's freedom.
Capture Every Moment You Can
Recently, a military family came to me. Dad was being sent overseas. The young family had a newborn child. The family asked me to take some photos locally to capture the moments before Dad left. Dad lifted his newborn baby in the air (the ONLY thing that made her smile). The photos said it all. The joy on the family’s face will be something they can remember even when Dad is deployed.
This photo session was an essential part of deployment for this family. Dad has these pictures to get him through his time away. Mom has these photos to help her get through the time away from Dad while taking care of her newborn on her own. When Dad comes home, these photos will remind the family of the life and love they shared when their child was a newborn.
When our heroes leave their families for a few months to a year or more, they need to capture every moment. These moments help them (and their family at home) get through the long days and even longer nights while they wait to come home. It helps them get through those times when they cannot communicate for days or weeks on end.
Bring the Moments Full Circle with a Photo Shoot When You Come Home
When a military family is reunited, it brings deployment full circle. You should capture this reunion to give you and your family another moment to remember forever. The before and after photos show how you and your family share an unconditional love even while you physically and emotionally grow.
When a military family is reunited, you cannot deny the pure love and joy in the family. The sparkle in their eyes upon first sight is amazing and special. That moments need to be remembered every day. When life gets hard, these moments remind them (and the world) how much love you and your family have for one another.
This Memorial Day, as we remember those men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, take a moment to appreciate the men and women and their families who risk that sacrifice every day. For those of you facing deployment, capture all the moments you have with your family to help you get through each and every day away from them. Lisa Mongulla Photography is proud to support our heroes and help capture these moments for you and your family. Call us at 609.265.1318 to learn more and schedule your photo session.
