perfect winter memories!
Let It Snow (For Pictures)
Sometimes, Nature Provides the Perfect Backdrop for Your Winter Memories
If the end of autumn is any indication of the winter weather we can expect this year, we may have a snowy winter. While 2020 has brought many disappointments, a snowy winter can be a beautiful way to spend the colder months of the year.
Since this year is the year of making your own memories, snow can be a blessing. It has been a few years since the Medford, Tabernacle, Westampton, Burlington, and Camden Counties areas had a significant snowstorm. Normally, we all may love to look at snow but don’t necessarily enjoy all it brings.
However, this year, it is a welcomed reminder that life goes on. Even better, it helps us make some amazing winter memories that can help us move past the quiet holiday season.
What Fun Can You Have in the Snow?
Remember being a young child. A snow day meant outdoor fun. You bundled up and ran outside. You then jumped face-first into the fluffy white sow and began swinging your arms and legs back and forth to make snow angels.
That childhood fun can make everyone revert to a nine-year-old child enjoying a snow day. Suddenly, you remember the fun of sledding down the highest hill in town. You remember the fun of your gloved hands, making the perfect snowball just to throw it at your mom, dad, brother, or sister. You remember the joy of building the perfect snowman.
Then you all run inside to enjoy the hot cocoa while cuddling under the biggest fleece blanket you can find.
The fun you can have in the snow is endless. Capturing that fun is priceless.
How Do You Capture These Amazing Childhood Moments?
We have cellphones, tablets, and cameras. We can all be amateur photographers. We can capture these sudden moments to share on Instagram and other social media sites. However, we miss the chance to participate in our own memories.
Sometimes, the best option is to schedule a photo session so you can participate in all your family’s winter memories. Working with a professional photographer can help you capture the small moments that make up an entire lifetime.
During the year of COVID, the more small moments you can capture, the less you will want to forget the year. Instead, you will focus on the moments you may not have had if life were as busy as it had been in the past.
Hopefully, the winter will bring more snow-filled with more memory-making opportunities. However, no matter what weather awaits, take the time to capture all the moments possible. Lisa Mongulla Photography can help you capture the moments that make a life. Call 856.297.0910 to book your session.
