Meet Jadyn Krouse!  What a beautiful teen from Medford, NJ.  This 13 year old will have her television debut in an upcoming episode of The Walking Dead. 

When you speak with Jadyn, it's clear she is strong and very mature for her age!  The Medford Memorial Middle School eighth grader enjoys participating in the school's productions as well as many of her classes and teachers.  Jadyn got her start at the age of 8 when she was studying voice and theater at the Music Training Center in Marlton, NJ.  She landed the role of Miss Hannigan in the performance of Annie!  While her passion is drama, when asked about her future plans, she would love to be in film!  Her summer months are filled by performing in local productions (Broadway Bound Players in Medford) as well as attending Stagedoor Manor, a theater camp in the Catskills where casting directors come to find the next generation of stars! Jadyn shared that Julie Zarukin of Julie Zarukin Studio is a mentor and extremely special.  She loves that Julie is candid and speaks the truth, encourages growth and makes working fun!

Now, about her role on The Walking Dead...I tried to get the scoop, but she was very tight lipped and just said it's a pivotal scene and very cool!  She encourages everybody to set their DVR so they don't miss an episode!

On a personal note, she loves spending time with her family, especially when going to NYC for Broadway shows!  For her Bat Mitzvah this year, Jadyn chose to raise funds for the Scheuermanns Disease Fund as her mitzvah project.  Her purpose is to create awareness and raise funds for this rare spinal disorder called Scheuemanns Kyphosis.  It is a skeletal disease that causes a forward curvature of the spine and happens during a growth spurt during adolescence.  To read more about her project and fundraiser, click here.
