How to get a new Corporate Headshot during a Pandemic
How to Get a Corporate Headshot During Coronavirus
You Can Still Get Your Corporate Headshots During the COVID-19 Pandemic
It is no secret we are amid a global pandemic. However, as time moves on, business is working to get back to normal. As companies begin to hire new employees, they may require corporate headshots. How can you get the corporate headshots you need in a safe, effective environment?
Read on to learn how you can obtain a corporate headshot without risking your (or your photographer’s) health and safety.
- Temperature Checks Are a Great Health Measure
Whether going into school, work, or entering a hair salon or other service establishment, business owners now require temperature checks. For your safety and the safety of your photographer, run temperature and health screening checks before sitting for corporate headshots.
Anyone running a temperature or having health-related issues can easily reschedule the photo session. However, if you are healthy, you can move forward with your session safely.
- Stay 6 Feet Apart
A photographer does not have to get in your face for a corporate headshot. As a matter of fact, a zoom lens can give the illusion of a close-up photo without needing to get close.
Therefore, photographers can easily stay 6 feet away from you when taking our corporate headshot. In today’s environment, you can avoid a handshake and other niceties to keep a safe distance. Meanwhile, you can sit for your photo and know that you can maintain a safe social distance.
- Use an Outdoor Environment
Outdoor events are still safer than indoor events. Therefore, an outdoor photoshoot would be safer than an indoor photoshoot.
Ask your photographer for an outdoor photoshoot. A corporate headshot does not need to be in front of a wall. Many photographers use portable backdrops, allowing them to create any background in any environment.
- Bring Your Own Wipes
Your photographer will wipe down any seats and props that may be available to you for your corporate headshots. They are worried about COVID, too! However, if you feel uncertain about the cleaning skills of your photographer, bring your own wipes. Feel free to wipe down the seat and other items you may touch. In today's COVID world, your photographer will not take offense.
- Use Hand Sanitizer Before and After Your Headshots
In the end, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after your session. Keeping your hands clean keeps you safe from the Coronavirus germs.
Washing your hands anytime you touch anything is the best way to keep you safe in any environment, including a photo session. Your photographer is doing the same.
